Ethics and responsibilities

Ufa Mathematical Journal follows the highest standards of publication ethics and any kind of publication malpractice or violation of publication ethics is not accepted. By submitting a manuscript to this journal, each author explicitly confirms that the manuscript obeys the highest ethical standards for authors and coauthors. The editorial board of Ufa Mathematical Journal adopts and respects all the standards of publication ethics developed by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) (see http://publicationethics.org/about), in particular, the COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, see http://publicationethics.org/files/Code_of_conduct_for_journal_editors_M... . In particular, the following statement of the ethical standards are obliged for the journal, the editors, the authors and the reviewers.

Publication and authorship

If the results of third parties are used in the manuscript, they should be explicitly cited in a proper way. Any use without proper citation is not accepted and leads to the immediate rejection of the manuscript. The manuscript can not contain any fraudulent data. It is forbidden to publish same research in more than one journal. If the research was made under a financial support, it should be acknowledgmented.

Author's responsibilities

The authors are obliged to participate in peer review process as the authors based solely on scientific content and signifance of the research. By submitting the manuscript to the jounal, all the authors confirm that they have significantly contributed to the research and that all data in article are real and authentic. All authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.

Peer review / responsibility for the reviewers

The reviewers are obliged to give objective reports. If there is a conflict of interest with respect to the research, or the authors, or the research funders, the reviewers must immediately inform about it the editorial board and reject the refereeing of the manuscript. Reviewers should point out relevant published work which is not yet cited. Reviewers should treat manuscripts confidentially.

Editorial responsibilities

The editorial board have complete responsibility and authority to reject/accept a manuscript. Each acceptance/rejection is based solely on the scientific content and signifance of a manuscript. The editors should have no conflict of interest with respect to articles they reject/accept. If an error in a manuscript is found, the editors are responsible for promoting publication of correction or retraction. The editors are responsible for preserving  anonymity of reviewers.

Publishing ethics issues 

The editorial board is responsible for monitoring of publishing ethics; for maintaining the integrity of the academic record; for providing the guidelines for retracting articles; for precluding business needs from compromising intellectual and ethical standards; for preventing appearance of plagiarism and fraudulent data. The editorial board is always willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when needed.
